(We will not yet have created animals!)

To begin the day (I am tempted to say: "In the beginning"!) Chris Clarke, formerly Professor of Applied Mathematics at Southampton University, wilt lead us through a series of images of creation taken from the Hubble Space Telescope. We will witness the beauty and mystery of unfolding, of which all our ancestors could only dream. In this generation we are privileged to take such a giant leap of knowing.

In smaller steps, as dancers, we will trace the patterns created to the music of various cultures. Material chosen by Plaxy from the worldwide traditions of circle or community dance will lead us through the biblical creation story. This will be interspersed with words both spoken and sung by Gordon. There will be time to connect and time to reflect — all rolled into six hours! Whether you then go home to rest is up to you!

This dance form, like creation, is about trial and even error! It embraces the modest and the outrageous! And requires neither partner (two-by-twos come later in the biblical story!) nor expertise — for the work of creation continues!
